Melinda Estabrooks - Associate & Guesting Producer Listen Up TV

Melinda was born in the Philippines and adopted as a baby by a Canadian missionary family. Growing up in Asia gave her insights into many international aspects of life and multicultural dynamics which still impact her current interests and passions today. She has visited China, the former Soviet Union, and several countries of Western Europe as well as Latin America. Mission and humanitarian trips have evolved from these interests – eight times to Cuba as well as to Guyana and Nicaragua.

             Her five years working with World Vision-Canada exposed her to incredible opportunities to make a difference in the lives of children around the world as well as creating awareness of global poverty and HIV/AIDS. This has given her also many opportunities for television appearances to discuss these issues as they relate to life in Canada.

            She currently is the Associate/Guesting Producer and Reporter for Canada’s premiere Christian journalism TV weekly program, Listen Up TV. Melinda is also a regular panelist on the Friday edition of 100 Huntley Street’s, women’s show “Full Circle.” She is a motivational and inspirational speaker who is asked frequently to speak at Women’s Events and Teen Conferences and is actively involved in leadership as an Overseer of her church, The Meeting House, in Oakville, Ontario.

            Melinda is writing her first book with the working title: Walking In My Many Shoes. She is married to Dr. Peter Williams and they currently reside in Oakville, Ontario.
