Vision Conferences

Currently conferences on “Worldview” and “Living Well in All Areas of Life” are offered through Paradigm Ministries.

The Worldview conferencehelps individuals understand the changes taking place within Christianity and provides Biblical foundations for where we need to be as influencers of culture.

The Living Well conferenceexamines the gap between what we long for and what we are experiencing. The broader the gap, the greater the stress. The smaller the gap, the greater the fulfillment. This course helps to outline Biblical priorities that are truly sustainable and provides a template to help people narrow the gap between longings and reality.

What Participants are Saying:

  • What you taught is still resonating with us, me especially.
  • I really like the fact other church groups came. It is important to know the body of believers isn’t just one group.
  • I never realized that there was a gap that causes that much tension. Knowing that we can lessen the gap by some changing made it easier to deal with
  • Very thought provoking
  • I will re-visit the given Scriptures and re-think some worldview assumptions I’ve made (childhood and my opinion of God)
  • topics were so relevant
  • work sheets are great
  • Challenging, helpful
  • insightful, encouraging, AWESOME!
  • refreshing, thought provoking, enjoyable
  • giving more thought to being open to worldly/spiritual ideas
  • convicting, encouraging, informative
  • thought provoking, relevant, intense
  • practical, Biblical, relevant
  • This was extremely well. I really Hope you teach again! = one of the reasons I have continued to attend
  • I appreciate you both so much. I’m thankful for your teaching styles and your insightful probing questions. Thank you!
  • Helpful to have the tools in my present relationships and helpful to have the tools to build strong relationships with spouse, children, friends, etc.
  • Concepts are practical, realistic, and biblical
  • Very relevant to some of the situations faced in life
  • You and the truths you spoke over the weekend have been much in my mind and we would have liked to speak with you further; even if just to say in person how timely and helpful your words and spirit were to us in particular. I believe that your words are truth and your message is of utmost importance, but that its very counter cultural and a challenge to those who find comfort in being governed by religion. I think of the sower from the parable who casts his message on the various types of soil - the message is true and of the Lord, but it doesn’t bear fruit in all places (though where it does not bear fruit it may itself cultivate and till the soil - it will not be sterile). I believe you shared the message for our time - which is that same hope Jesus gave to the Samaritan woman, God knows us, loves us, and speaks to us and we are free to worship him in spirit and in truth. But this is a hard word to believe, hard to accept in our performance oriented world. As you mentioned, it’s not about closing the sale, but about being a marker on the journey, and you were that, both in your words (and method of sharing) and in your loving presence, which seemed the embodiment of your teaching. I believe that your words penetrated people to shed light on what God is doing and would have us do and made us believe that He was close. Thank you so much for doing the work you do and for coming and sharing time and yourself with us. We will be praying for you in a new way.
  • I found the message shared , challenging, exciting and it is assisting me in examining my own life at this juncture. Thank you.

Are there any changes you have noticed in your decision-making that have been influenced by what you have learned in this course? Explain.

  • Being more grounded and challenged in my decisions, questioning motivations
  • thinking about worldly influence
  • trying to allow what I have learned to help me make choices and decisions
  • this course has offered new ways to think about things, more questions to ask
  • Being more intentional in how I listen to God
  • There are many people around me who need help and I haven’t done anything to help them since I have my own unsolved issues. But now, I decided that I have to start to do something.
  • The aspect of the gap between Ideals and Reality was of great significance to me. It explains a great deal about tensions and release of tensions in my daily life. Fantastic!
  • This was helpful to my search and longing to truly demonstrate God’s love and live out my faith as God’s child
  • Most of my life I have been a doer and a fixer. This forum showed me that I was doing things by process but without purpose.
  • The concept of narrowing these gaps between Ideal and Reality was a wonderful visual.
  • This seminar was a huge challenge to my world view.
  • I appreciate the picture of the gap and the challenge to reduce it so as to be more effective personally and relationally with God and man.

To What extent did the forum meet your expectations?

  • I thought that I wouldn’t benefit too much from the seminar since I am not really a Christian yet. But I found that I learned a lot
  • Wonderfully reinforces the journey I am on and brings new insights as well It helps to see in print some thoughts and issues I struggle with (eg: time management, listening to God, soul care)
  • I found this personally stimulating and have (I hope) taken me along the path to realizing I still have work to do in “becoming well”, but also have provided me with a paradigm for moving beyond my own world.
  • To be honest, I came with the assumption I would not hear anything new. However, the information was presented with an interpretation that was unique and profound.
  • I was not expecting the challenge to my world view to include environmental responsibility and stewardship in this area. This was a welcome shock for me.
